The league and Grand Final runners up travel to Tweed United in Friday night action. Budwee’s side will be hoping to begin 2021 with a win in their first competitive fixture. Tweed will be looking to cause an upset in this clash with a reshaped team under new coach Chris Pirlo.
(BPL) Acacia Ridge vs (CL1) Tamborine Mountain
Tamborine Mountain will play their first FFA Cup match on Friday night travelling to take on Brisbane Premier League side Acacia Ridge. With aspirations of playing in the Coast League competition for the first time in 2021, the Eagles will be looking to ruffle some feathers in the first stages of the FFA Cup with a win.

(PL) Nerang vs (SC) Bribie Island
The Eagles will take on Bribie Island in their first FFA Cup match of 2021. With injuries plaguing their 2020 campaign, Lee Vernon will be looking to mount a deep cup run with a roster mixed with experience and youth.
(PL) Surfers Paradise vs (CAP2) Redcliffe PCYC
The undefeated league champions Apollo host Redcliffe PCYC Dolphins in what many have tipped will be a comfortable evening for the champions. Having made the Round of 32 stage in 2016, Apollo will be looking to return to competitive action on the weekend and extend their streak of undefeated games.
(BPL) Bayside United vs (PL) Runaway Bay
The new boys on the block Runaway Bay will test themselves against BPL side Bayside United in their opening match. After the withdrawal of Coomera from the GCPL, the young Bayhawks know that they have a lot of areas of improvement heading into the new season and will be looking to kick it off with a win away from home.

After qualifying for the finals series in 2020, Robina will be looking to get the edge over their Capital League 1 opponents Pine Hills. With a large turnover of players in the off-season, Nathan Mulhearn will know his side will endure some testing times in the next few weeks as they establish their identity with a new squad.
(PL) Southport vs (CAP2) Oxley United
New surroundings and a fresh outlook await Steve Macdonald and his Southport team when they host Capital 2 league team Oxley United. Having the most recent coach to qualify for the Round of 32 stages at the helm, the Warriors will confident of progressing through to the next stage of the Cup.
(CL) Pacific Pines vs (CAP1) North Pine
With a new head coach in place, Pacific Pines will be looking to start the cup with a win against Capital One side North Pine. With the home ground advantage at their disposal and the chance of hosting the next stage, expect the Pines to be eager to get things underway with a victory.

(BPL) St George Willawong vs (PL) Musgrave
The Mustangs face the most difficult trip of all the Gold Coast teams when they take on undefeated Brisbane Premier League champions St George Willawong. With new players donning the orange and black, coach Jason Shultz will be hoping for a strong performance as they prepare for the upcoming GCPL season.
(PL) Kingscliff vs (CAP2) Westside Grovely
Kingscliff are in the midst of preparing for life back in the Premier League for the first time in 25 years. Hosting Westside Grovely from Capital League 2, the Wolves will feel quietly confident in progressing through to the next stages after a strong pre-season showing thus far.
