Football Gold Coast have put pen to paper on a new major sponsorship deal in the early weeks of January with Club Health And Wellness Centre.
In a two year deal like no other seen in the past ten years for the organisation, Football Gold Coast are set to expand their reach and interaction with the wider footballing community all thanks to an increase in funding for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Club Health and Wellness owner and operator, Dr. Chris Jackson was of high praise of the organisation he has supported for many years through his other business venture, Junior Jaws.
“By connecting with the football fraternity through Football Gold Coast it gives me the opportunity to connect with the local community. I am happy to be here and involved,” said Jackson shortly after the deal was announced.
Dr. Jackson has been part of local community clubs for a number of years, primarily beginning in Melbourne and stemming his support further up the Coast to his current home at Tweed Heads.
“We are big advocates of doing what we love, so I am hoping that this is the first step in that journey for us to help the clubs do what they love to do,” said Jackson.
Football Gold Coast General Manager Damien Bresic was quick to applaud the sponsorship and look forward to the benefits that a deal like this has on his organisation.
“It is a huge boost for us and a lot of thanks goes to Dr. Chris Jackson. This relationship has been building for a number of years and I’d like to think we’ve done the right thing to increase this sponsorship.”
Mr. Bresic addressed key areas of this particular sponsorship that will help the organisation moving forward in the immediate future.
“It will hopefully allow us to make the game more affordable to all our parents. We will be able to put this money into coaching and refereeing resources throughout the entire system rather than focusing at the top level,” said Bresic.
Moving forward for the next two seasons, Club Health and Wellness will have the naming rights to the Gold Coast Premier League competition, the highest level of senior mens competition on the Gold Coast as well as the Pre-Season Cup naming rights.
Cross Code Sports Marketing, a sport sponsorship and marketing company, played an integral part in securing the sponsorship, to which both parties were thankful for their support.
“The level of detail that Noel and Blair went into to make this deal possible has been greatly appreciated by us all. I would like to recommend to our clubs who are looking to increase their revenue and sponsorship material to get into contact with these guys,” said Bresic.
The Club Health and Wellness Pre-Season Cup begins on Friday the 16th of February.
