Robina will be hopeful of getting their first win of the year against Broadbeach as they did last season when the two sides meet in the early kick off on Saturday. Broadbeach have had an extended break of late and will be looking to kick off their long away trip with a win against City.
Surfers vs Musgrave- Saturday @ 5pm @ Lex Bell Oval
Surfers will be looking to kick off the second half of the season with a win when they host Musgrave Mustangs at Lex Bell Oval. The home side are yet to taste defeat in the league for the last two seasons and will be hoping to extend that run against a Musgrave team who are looking to bounce back from recent results.
Nerang vs Burleigh- Saturday @ 7pm @ Bob Jeffrey Field
Nerang are looking to keep up the pace at the top of the table when they host Burleigh in the late kick off fresh off their President’s Cup victory. The Bulldogs will be chomping to right their wrongs of the 1-1 draw against Robina to end the round and will be hoping to trouble the home side.
Southport vs Runaway Bay- Sunday @ 3pm @ Ashmore Village Park
Southport will be looking to continue their good run of form when they host Runaway Bay at Ashmore Village Park. With the Bayhawks narrowly falling in their last fixture, all eyes will be on the two sides as they look to get the edge in the first game of the second round.
Tallebudgera vs Palm Beach- Friday @ 7pm @ Coplicks Family Park
League leaders Tallebudgera Tigers are looking to extend their lead at the top when they host Palm Beach on Friday night. The Tigers will be welcomed with the early result with Legends losing 3-2 to Pacific Pines and will know the importance of all three points.
Tamborine vs Mudgeeraba- Friday @ 7pm @ Bret Arthur Field
Tamborine welcome Mudgeeraba up the mountain on Friday night hopeful of kicking things off in the second half of the season with a win. The Wallabies are in for a top 4 battle and will be hoping to get past the Mountain Eagles to set themselves up for a strong run home.
Tweed vs Runaway Bay- Saturday @ 5pm @ Arkinstall Park
Tweed are looking to remain in touch at the top when they host Runaway Bay on Saturday evening. The Marlins can see a gap for them and will know the importance of getting the results they are expected to get starting with the weekend clash.
Musgrave vs Ormeau- Sunday @ 3pm @ Keith Hunt Park
Musgrave and Ormeau lock horns in Sunday afternoon action with both sides in need of three points. In a mixed first half of the season, nothing but maximum will do as the goals they have both set are critical on a positive result out of the game.
