The weekend is upon us and we have another big week ahead in the Premier League and Coast League! Here is the full preview of what is to come!
Nerang vs Musgrave- Friday @ Bob Jeffrey Field- 7pm
Nerang look to continue their good run in form when they host Musgrave fresh off their big win on Friday night. The home side will look to keep up the pressure at the top of the table with a win against the Mustangs who will look at their form in front of goal last weekend as a positive coming in.
Runaway Bay vs Broadbeach- Saturday @ Runaway Bay Field- 4pm
Runaway Bay will be hoping to reach on the same thing that helped them defeat the Dolphins in round one when they lock horns on Saturday. The home side will have confidence coming back home against a Dolphins team looking to bounce back after their disappointing end result to last weekend.
Robina vs Kingscliff- Saturday @ Robina Common- 5pm
Kingscliff will take plenty of confidence into their game on Saturday evening after last week when they travel to Robina City. The home side are yet to taste victory this season and will be hoping to turn that around against a Wolves side who are primed for a three pointer.
Southport vs Burleigh- Saturday @ Ashmore Village Park- 7pm
Southport will be looking to bounce back when they host Burleigh in the late kick off on Saturday. The Warriors will look towards their two talismans up front for inspiration against a Bulldogs team who are fresh off a win and can cut the gap to only three points with a win here.
Surfers vs Palm Beach- Sunday @ Croatian Sports Centre- 2:45pm
Surfers host in form Palm Beach at the Croatian Sports Centre on Sunday afternoon action looking to maintain their undefeated run and continue the pace at the top of the table. The Sharks are the red hot team in the league in recent weeks and will be hoping to continue that moving into Sunday afternoon.
Tallebudgera vs Tweed- Friday @ Coplicks Family Park- 8:15pm
The top of the table clash in the Coast League sees Tallebudgera host Tweed in a must win game for the Marlins if they are any chance of winning the title. The Tigers come into the game on a great run of form and will be hoping to make it one more on Friday night.
Tamborine vs Legends- Friday @ Bret Arthur Field- 8:30pm
Legends will be hoping to turn things around when they travel up the mountain to take on Tamborine. Both sides are in need of a win and the late kick off could prove tricky for the visitors who look to remain in touch with the top two.
Nerang vs Musgrave- Saturday @ Glennon Park- 5pm
Nerang will look to continue on from last week’s win when they host Musgrave on Saturday afternoon. The Mustangs have strung some wins together as of late and will be hoping for much the same against the rampant Eagles in front of goal.
Mudgeeraba vs Palm Beach- Saturday @ Sid Bigg Park- 5pm
Mudgeeraba are keen on continuing their push in the top four when they host Palm Beach. The Wallabies have made a good run as of late and are eyeing off a higher spot in the top four starting with a win against the Sharks.
Ormeau vs Pacific Pines- Saturday @ Norfolk Park- 6pm
Ormeau and Pacific Pines do battle up north with both sides looking for all three points to put themselves in a better position for the run home. Pacific Pines have had a good run of late, narrowly losing to league leaders Tallebudgera and defeating Legends.
