We always welcome new referees of all levels to join our team to see where refereeing football on the Gold Coast can take them.
There are two options for referees on the Gold Coast

We actively promote Club Based Refereeing as an entry pathway to becoming a match official. Suitable for anyone 13 years of age and above, Club Based Refereeing allows you to give back to your local club, earn some pocket money and get a taste of what officiating football is all about without having to outlay a registration fee.Club Based Referees are supported by the club referees coordinator at each member club on the Gold Coast. The Club Referees Coordinator is responsible for allocating your match appointments and are your first point of contact. As a Club Based Referee you can expect to officiate football from Under 14’s and below, along with performing the role of Assistant Referee to support Football Gold Coast Referees on senior matches.
